Vote Now: Throwaway Shopping Bags

Bedford Borough Liberal Democrats have launched an online opinion poll to gather views on the future of throwaway shopping bags. The online poll can be found at www.bedfordlibdems.org , on the right of the homepage.

The question being asked is:

Throw away carrier bags are a significant contributor to climate change and a waste of resources. Reducing the number of throw away bags by just 25% is the same as taking 18,000 cars off the road. What do you think should be done?
